Look. I’m not saying it’ll ever actually happen, but you gotta start somewhere, and someone actually got the ball rolling on this one. After years of something like an ironic grassroots campaign to make it happen, it’s now official: There is a Saved by the Bell movie in the works.
Is it the reunion episode we’ve all been pining away for? And by all, I mean: Jimmy Fallon’s audience? No. Not exactly. From what I can gather, it’s not a reunion movie. It’s a big-screen feature film “based on” the original ’90s series. What does that mean? Probably an all new cast (and if we’re lucky, cameos from the original stars).

What I do know is that it is being developed. Jon Shestack productions (Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Dan in Real Life) has apparently secured the rights, and put a couple of producers on the project, Jeremy Stein (The Photographer) and Ginny Brewer, who also produced Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and Dan in Real Life. The project is currently out to writers.

You have to give it to Peter Facinelli an Jennie Garth for keeping the romance alive. The couple has spent more time apart this year than any year of their marriage.

Between Peter filming The Twilight Saga in Vancouver and Nurse Jackie in New York City, the couple makes the most of their time together. Always the generous one, Peter tipped his limo driver $20 when he was dropped off at home from the airport.

So when Peter returned from New York City, the couple shared a romantic kiss when they met up for lunch at Casa Vega in Studio City. I'm glad to see romance is still alive in Hollywood!

Megan Fox Fights With Boyfriend

MEGAN Fox has fallen out with her on/off beau Brian Austin Green — over their holiday plans!

The couple apparently came to blows while deciding where to celebrate Christmas and with whom.

“Basically Megan wanted it all her way with Brian joining her and her friends and family for the holiday but Brian isn’t so keen,” explains a source close to the tempestuous twosome.

“He is very loyal to his family and thought they would at least share the holidays between the two. It’s all ended in another tiff which means they probably won’t see each other at all over Christmas.”

Megan, 23, recently said that being famous is like being a “sacrificial lamb”.

“Being a celebrity is like being a sacrificial lamb,” she said. “At some point, no matter how high the pedestal that they [critics and audiences] put you on, they’re going to tear you down.

“And I created a character as an offering for the sacrifice. I’m not willing to give my true self up.

“The reality is, I’m hidden amongst all the insanity. Nobody can find me.”

Actress Brittany Murphy Dead at 32: Additional Discussion

Here's what we know:

Brittany Murphy was pronounced dead this morning on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Murphy reportedly suffered full cardiac arrest, causing her death. TMZ was the first to report her death. Murphy was reportedly found unconscious in the shower by her mother, Sharon, at about 8:00 AM PT.

TMZ reports that the LAPD has launched an investigation into Murphy's death.

Murphy's rep issued the following statement: "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy."

I stumbled upon this while looking up articles re: Brittany Murphy. (R.I.P.) the mostly failtastic list, complete with unflattering Photoshop-free photos, made me laugh so I figured I'd share with ONTD to brighten this sad Sunday afternoon.

Once the new female MC on the block, Lil Mama has something to say about hip-hop femcee du jour: Nicki Minaj.

When asked to share her thoughts on Young Money’s first lady, the Brooklyn rapstress gave kudos to Nicki before pointing to a glaring difference in their images and content.

“Nicki Minaj is a talented rapper,” Lil Mama said. “She’s out there, she’s doing her. What she represents, I don’t represent and she’s doing something different, that’s her lane. As the voice of the young people, Lil Mama, I focus on bringing up young girls to respect their bodies, respect theyself, do it up.”
